After a recent presentation at the Domain-Driven Design SIG in New York, we interviewed Peter Bell about Domain specific Modeling as it relates to DDD. We spoke about what DSM is, common misconceptions about it, and how DSM and Domain Specific Languages can be used in DDD.

Peter writes and presents internationally on Domain Specific Modeling and Code Generation. He is also on the program committee for the Domain Specific Modeling Workshop at ooPSLA and the annual Code Generation conference in Cambridge, England. He is CTO of SystemsForge where he has developed a software product line for efficiently generating maintainable, extensible custom web applications.
